The purpose of this job is to assist the Mechanical Engineer with; Organizing and safe controlling including saving on VAULT off all existing Sakura drawings, OEM manuals and other technical information. Draughts person will also be able to generate high quality manufacturing design drawings to use for plant improvement projects.


  • Maintain a high level of safety throughout the execution of all detail design drawings generated by considering best practice standards and Sakura Design criteria.

FINANCIAL MODELLING AND SCENARIO ANALYSIS

Reviewing, developing and analysing financial models for current operations and potential projects in order to prepare presentations and recommendation to Senior management

CAPITAL/ASSETS CONTROL: -

Monitor regularly on the fixed asset register. Ensure the register is kept updated from time to time.


FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING: -

Cross checking the monthly report with basic standard of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard (MFRS), to ensure the full compliance.


 PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Analysis of current processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and shortcomings and to ensure they are optimized

The purpose of this role is to identify, manage, and report on ESG-related projects and current pipeline initiatives.

Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, monitoring ongoing projects such as Bio Carbon testing, CO gas to ethanol conversion, and liquid ammonium sulphate to fertilizer conversion, while ensuring successful project execution, reporting, and closure. The purpose of this role is to ensure the optimal efficiency of mechanical systems within the plant by maximizing equipment availability and reliability. This position emphasizes the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive Preventative Maintenace Management System (PMMS) designed to uphold high standards the operational performance. By proactively identifying maintenance needs and scheduling timely interventions, the Mechanical Planner plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment longevity, and ultimately contributing to the overall productivity and success of the plant. 

  • Maintain a high level of a safety throughout all Mechanical activities. 

  • Utilize the PMMS (OnKey) to develop and maintain Preventative Work Orders (S-Job Cards) for mechanical maintenance tasks. 

  • Manage spares planning by liaising with the mechanical team and warehouse personnel. 

  • Manage shutdown and project planning to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Oversees and manages appointed contractors responsible for mechanical work to ensure project efficiency and compliance with standards.
