The incumbent
will be reporting to ensure reliability of the conveyor belts on the plant by
servicing, maintaining and repairing them to a high standard to prevent furnace
downtime. We need a highly
motivated self-driven individual who is able to work independently whilst
providing support to the team and the operations and have the following
underpinning knowledge:
Maintain a high level of safety throughout the execution of assigned tasks
- Do lagging of pulleys
- Keep all the belts on the
plant trained.
- Set, service and replace belt scrapers as required.
- Inspect and report on the
conditions of the trough, return and impact idlers.
- Do daily inspections and condition monitoring and give
feedback regarding maintenance required for all conveyor belts on the plant.
- Taking care of belt splicing equipment and tools.
- Ensuring that the correct type and quantities of belt repair spares and consumables are always available on site
- To ensure all conveyor belts on the plant is serviced,
maintained and repaired to a high standard and to ensure the conveyor belts are
available to production in such a way as to minimize any downtime that may be
caused. Including:
- Hot and cold splicing of
conveyor belts
- Hot and cold repairs to
damaged belt covers.
- Hot and cold repairs of damaged belt splices

REQUIREMENT:
- · Minimum qualification of Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in mechanical trade or equivalent
- · At least 3 years of working as a belts man
with specific knowledge of hot splicing and cold splicing procedures and
techniques.
Reporting
to the Assistant Manager-Instrument, the incumbent is responsible to maintain,
inspect, and prevent downtime and increase availability and performance of the
plant instrumentation systems.
- Maintain
a high level of safety throughout the execution of assigned tasks
- Maintain
and repair electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and
systems used in control generating operations, instruments include flow meters,
temperature transmitter and elements, pressure gauges and pneumatic valves
- Inspect and plan for required repairs for electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems used in control generating operations
- Install
new electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems used
in control generating operation when required

REQUIREMENT:
- Minimum qualification of Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronic Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician in an Industrial Environment
- Have experience in PLC/SCADA

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the incumbent is responsible to ensure that the plant can operate at a maximum possible availablity by ensuring the complete maintenance management and planning system is optimally utilized and developed
- Maintain a high level of safety throughout the
execution of assigned tasks
- Develop and maintain the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Liase with procurement department to procure the correct spares and tools for the plant maintenance
- Handle engineering invoices
- Handling of the reporting

REQUIREMENT:
- Minimum qualification of Engineering Diploma or Higher
- At least 2 years of working experience with typical equipment like furnaces, crushers, conveyors, fittings, pumps, drilling, gearboxes, overhead cranes and hydraulics in a heavy industrial environment would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience in working with a computerized maintenance management system
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling will be advantageous
